Fellowship Chapel 101

We at Fellowship Chapel take our name seriously. “Fellowship” means “to get together in Jesus Name”.
We are getting together in Jesus Name with you and to serve you. Here is how:

FELLOWSHIP IS …...
Getting together with you to tell about God’s great love for us. We spread the Good News of God’s love and salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ in many ways, including ...

MOTHERS OF PRESCHOOLERS (MOPS)
MOPS is a support group for mothers of small children that meets every other Tuesday morning at 9 AM. It addresses those special needs of young mothers by giving them a place to gather, relax, enjoy a guest speaker, learn a new craft, develop close friendships while excellent child care is provided.

MERCY MINISTRIES:
It is important that the love of Jesus Christ be shown others and one another in various ways. For this reason we at fellowship maintain prison ministries, a Parish Nurse Program, SALTS for abused adults, a Children of Divorced Parents program as well as several other ministries. All of these are ways that you can minister
and be ministered to.

SPOTLIGHTS:
Our Spotlight events provide opportunities for you to gather with friends to enjoy an evening of great food and quality entertainment. You may just find yourself growing in your relationship with God Himself at a Spotlight program.

WOMEN’S SERVICE CIRCLES:
The women of Fellowship Chapel are divided in 4 groups, each group is called a Circle. The purpose of the Circles is to involve as many women as possible in using their God given gifts and talents in “Women’s Service” in the church. This include things like hosting funeral luncheons in support of church families when a loved one dies.

FELLOWSHIP IS..
Getting Together With you to teach truth! A goal of Fellowship Chapel is to help you grow in spiritual maturity through a practical knowledge of God’s Word, the Bible. Some of our educational programs are…

ALPHA:
This is a great way to find out more about the Christian faith. If you are a newcomer to the church, interested in investigating Christianity or if you would just like to brush up on the basics, Alpha is for you. Here is an opportunity to get to know others, make new friends and discuss issues raised during the talks. There are no questions too simple or too hostile to ask.

BETA:
As a follow up to Alpha, Beta continues a small group experience but offers the opportunity to grow in your faith and to begin to discover God’s Word and it’s application for your daily life.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION CLASSES:
There are classes for all ages, from preschool on up. All classes are designed to be uplifting, helpful and informative while always being centered around God’s Word. Several classes are offered for adults to choose from each year. You never too young or too old to start. Join us this coming Sunday.

FELLOWSHIP IS ...
Getting together with you to build relationships! In a society that is increasingly characterized by isolation, loneliness, and alienation, Fellowship offers you relationships; first , a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ; and second, deepening relationships with God’s people. Some of the ways we do this are:

ACQUAINTANCE MAKING PLACES (AMPS):
AMPS takes place every Sunday morning at 10:30 AM and 12:15 PM, after the morning worship services. Gather with us to have a cup of coffee and a donut, make acquaintances and get to know others better.

SMALL GROUPS:
Imagine being in a comfortable group of 10 to 12 friends who meet twice per month to care, support and love one another in Jesus’ Name. That’s what Small Groups are all about. They’re a terrific way to become a part of the Fellowship community. Pick up our Small Group brochure to find out about them.

MEN’S & WOMEN’S MINISTRY:
Here is a great way to meet and get to know other Christian men or women in settings from the very informal, to exciting Promise Keepers rallies, Women of Faith Conferences, or the worshipful experience of a weekend retreat with just other men or women in the church.

FELLOWSHIP IS …
Getting together with you to worship God! We express honor, loyalty and praise to our God through:

SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP:
Each Sunday we gather to worship the Lord in a user friendly environment. We do not throw a lot of strange jargon or rituals at you. Instead, you’ll find easy-to-sing hymns and songs, a wide variety of performed sacred music, and practical messages from God’s Word, the Bible, you can put to use on Monday morning.

WEDNESDAY PRAYER AND BIBLE STUDY:
Sit down in a Bible study group with our
Pastor and discuss how this weeks lesson applies to your life. Then join in the fellowship of prayer as we bring your needs as well as those of our church and our world to our God.

EXCELLENT MUSIC:
Fellowship presents top quality music through our Worship Teams, Adult & Kids Choir and guest artists.

FELLOWSHIP IS ...
Passing on the Christian faith and values to the next generation as a high priority. We can help you in this task in the following ways:

ELEMENTARY AGE CHILDREN:
While you learn about the Christian faith on Sunday mornings, your children can also learn in classes appropriate for their age. While you worship, they can be in our Children At Worship time were they will learn to worship God in an understandable age appropriate way. On Wednesday evenings they can participate in a time of fun and fellowship in a Christian environment learning practical lessons.

THE QUEST—JUNIOR HIGH
Hey it’s a tough world to there! Every junior high student needs some friends to stand by and help them get through some tough time, to enjoy the good times with, and to ultimately grow together. That’s what happens every Wednesday night at 7 PM during the school year and at each and every monthly special event. If a junior high student enjoys fun, games, great food, awesome hands on adventures, and good friends, then this is the place for them.

REAL LIFE— SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL:
All Nighters at Joe Dumar’s field house. Week long mission trips to the inner city of Philadelphia, hayrides, Bible Quizzing competitions, Christian music festivals, white water rafting, winter retreats, sports, games, food and I could go on and on. Real Life is about taking high school students and engaging them in real issues of everyday life by providing opportunities for fun, acceptance and encouragement while providing real answers to some of life’s toughest questions and real experiences to know that the answers are true.

CRAM—COLLEGE & CAREER:
Connections. They are vital. Internet. Cell Phone. Palm Pilots. Blackberries. Email. Everyone needs connections with others. It is around this truth that we have built up CRAM. It stands for Caring for each other’s needs, Relating with one another, Abiding in the faith that brings us together, and Maturing into who god wants us to be. Special events happen monthly along with the weekly meetings.
